Today My Family Eats a Daily Dozen!
- Berries – 1 serving, size – 60g fresh or frozen, 40g dried
- Fruits – 3 servings – 1 medium, 40g dried
- Cruciferous – 1 serving – 30-80g chopped, 1tbs horseradish
- Vegetables – 2 servings – 50g non leafy veggies
- Greens – 2 servings – 60g raw, 90g cooked
- Beans – 3 servings – 130g cooked, 60g hummus
- Flax Seeds – 1 serving – 1tbs ground
- Nuts and Seeds -1 serving – 30g nuts, 2tbs nut butter
- Herbs & Spices – 1 serving – 1/4tsp turmeric
- Whole Grains – 1 serving – 100g hot cereal, 1 slice of bread
- Beverages – 5 cups – water, tea
- Exercise – 90min. moderate or 40 min. vigorous
